Hi, my name is Massimo, I grew up in my beloved region: Le Marche, where I work as a Licensed Tour Guide for Italian and english language.
Have you noticed that Le Marche is the only italian region to the plural? I believe that this region is a sort of hidden treasure...awaiting to be disclosed! It encompasses incredible countryside from the Sibillini mountains to the glorious coastline, castellated hilltop towns, wonderful wildlife, culture, art, music and delicious food and wine. My real passion is to combine the historical-artistic visits and the nature hikes with the pleasant discovery of the traditional tastes and I really enjoy to share that with my guests!
I will take you to find out the best artisans, winemakers and farmers, for unforgettable food&wine experiences.
I know you will find that the perfect harmony of flavors is just like a great opera..
This is a workshop based on one of the most beloved product of our region: the Maccheroncini di Campofilone (a sort of egg noodles). it’s definitely the home-made dish that was prepared by the Marche housewives for the main festivities and after the hard work of harvest. People from Marche are proud to continue preparing this traditional dish!
Campofilone is the capital of the Maccheroncini and this is the only pasta in Le Marche with IGP recognition (guarantee of origin for food produced in specific areas).
It differs from other pasta for the extremely thin dough and the finest cut, according to an old recipe passed down from ancient times. We’ll meet Serena, a young woman who continues the tradition of the local families. For a number of years she’s been running a petting zoo and a restaurant near Campofilone.
